Events this week include CLC's Jingle and Mingle in Nisswa, art receptions in Grand Rapids and Cook, a Christmas party in Marble and the Festival of Trees in Shevlin.

Events this week include a showing of "Barefoot in the Park" in Hibbing, Syttende Mai in Bemidji, a mental illness workshop in Grand Rapids and Great Lakes sailing and songs.

Other events this week include the "Inaaband Mitigwaki" artist reception, birding basics and "Misery" in Bemidji; "Love Crazy" in Bigfork; and "As She Likes It" in Virginia.

From Blackduck, Hibbing, Brainerd, Chisholm, Marble, Virginia and Bemidji, small towns across Northern Minnesota are chock-full of events.

United Way of Northeastern Minnesota has a Day of Action in Keewatin on June 14 and United Way of 1000 Lakes will be in Marble on June 21 for its Day of Action. Volunteers and community projects are needed for both events.
