Mounds of locally grown fruits and vegetables, cans of jams and jellies, beautiful flower bouquets, fresh-baked bread, soaps and crafts and — you get the picture.
Northern Minnesota farmers markets are ripe with goods, groceries and opportunities to support local growers and healthy habits.
At least 10 markets in the region began in May, with a dozen more slated to begin in June and July.
KAXE has compiled a list of Northern Minnesota farmers markets, including schedules, locations and contact information.
Most markets run through September or October, so take advantage of yours while the season lasts.
Not seeing your local market, or notice an entry in need of an update? Share it with us, and we'll add it to the map.
What else would you like to see mapped? KAXE is always looking for new lists and maps to serve our community, like our guide to Fourth of July fireworks or our upcoming map of beaches.
