- First City Singers Christmas concert - 4 p.m. at the Bemidji Senior Center
Tuesday, Dec. 2
- Grand Rapids Tax Aide volunteer information open house - 10 a.m.-noon at ElderCircle at the Itasca County Family YMCA in Grand Rapids
- Festival of Trees begins at the Clearwater County History Center in Shevlin, running through December 21. The history center is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday.
- Parkinson's Support Group - 1 p.m. at Central Square Mall in Grand Rapids
Wednesday, Dec. 3
- Highway 73 Corridor Study meeting - 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Chisholm Senior Citizens building
Thursday, Dec. 4
- Iron Range Council of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribes Christmas party - 6 p.m. at Marble City Hall. Enjoy a potluck dinner and Native bingo.
- Bagley Community Theater presents A Christmas Carol - 7 p.m. at Bagley High School auditorium
- Brainerd Community Theater presents Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - 7 p.m. at the Chalberg Theater on the campus of Central Lakes College in Brainerd
Friday, Dec. 5
- First Friday Art Walk - 4-7 p.m. at various locations in Grand Rapids
- Central Lakes College's Jingle and Mingle - 5:30 p.m. at Roundhouse Brewery in Nisswa. Wear your favorite ugly sweater and listen to music from the Central Lakes Jazz Orchestra. Donations support scholarships for CLC music students.
- Opening reception for "It Starts with an Idea" - 5-7 p.m. at Northwoods Friends of the Arts in Cook
- Community tree lighting - 5 p.m. at Marketplace Plaza in Crosby
- Brainerd Community Theater presents Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - 7 p.m. at the Chalberg Theater on the campus of Central Lakes College in Brainerd
- Bagley Community Theater presents A Christmas Carol - 7 p.m. at Bagley High School auditorium
Saturday, Dec. 6
- Treasures at Trinity - 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hill City. Shop handmade items. Coffee and lunch available.
- Santa Paws - 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Central Square Mall in Grand Rapids. Get your pet's photo with Santa and support Great Tails Animal Rescue.
- Historic sports film screening - 11 a.m. at the Historic Chief Theater in Bemidji
- Chili cook-off fundraiser - 4-7 p.m. at the Deer River Vets Club. Proceeds benefit the new Deer River dog park.
- Bagley Community Theater presents A Christmas Carol - 7 p.m. at Bagley High School auditorium
Sunday, Dec. 7
- Bagley Community Theater presents A Christmas Carol - 2 p.m. at Bagley High School auditorium
