Thursday, June 18
- Creature Connections: The Reptile Experience - 10 a.m. at Cook Community Center, 3:30 p.m. Buhl Public Library.
- Juneteenth Freedom Walk - 10 a.m. at Old Central School in Grand Rapids. Walk 2.5 miles around Crystal Lake and back to the school for a picnic. Register.
- Special Olympics send-off -11:30 a.m. at Lucky Dogs in Bemidji, followed by a gathering at 12:30 p.m. at the Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox statues. Celebrate two Special Olympians who will compete in the USA Games in the sport of bowling.
- Open Garden - 1-4 p.m. at Happy Dancing Turtle in Pine River.
- Aladdin, Jr. - 7 p.m. at the Chalberg Theater on the campus of Central Lakes College in Brainerd. Tickets.
Friday, June 19 (Juneteenth Holiday)
- Annual garage sale - 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds in Brainerd. Proceeds benefit Relationship Safety Alliance.
- Juneteenth celebration - 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on the 500 block of Chestnut Street in downtown Virginia.
Saturday, June 20
- Annual garage sale - 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds in Brainerd. Proceeds benefit Relationship Safety Alliance.
- Land of the Loon Ethnic Arts & Crafts Festival - 9 a.m. parade in downtown Virginia, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. festival at Olcott Park in Virginia.
- Northland Mutual UFO Network meeting - 2-4:30 p.m. at VFW Post 1720 in Grand Rapids
- Creature Connections: The Reptile Experience - 3 p.m. at Northome City Hall.

Sunday, June 21 (Happy Father's Day!)
- Civil Air Patrol breakfast - 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Grand Rapids Airport. See aircraft display with all you can eat eggs, sausage and pancakes. $12 for ages 13 and up, $6 for ages 6-12, and free for ages 5 and under.
- Land of the Loon Ethnic Arts & Crafts Festival - 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at Olcott Park in Virginia
- Community Potluck - Noon-3 p.m. at CHAIR in Virginia
