Monday, June 2
- Brown Bag author series - noon at the Brainerd Public Library. Minnesota author Marcie Rendon will discuss her new mystery novel Broken Fields.
Thursday, June 5
- Itasca Waters' Practical Water Wisdom webinar - noon. This month's topic is "Septic Health: A Deep Dive into Inspections and Maintenance."
- Author talk with Michael Meuers - 6 p.m. at Bemidji Public Library. Meuers will talk about his book Road to Ponemah: The Teachings of Larry Stillday.
Friday, June 6
- First Friday Art Walk- 4 to 7 p.m. throughout Grand Rapids
- Open house for Eugene Dalzotto - An Artist's Path - 5 to 7 p.m. at Watermark Art Center in Bemidji
- Spring Art Expo reception - 5 to 7 p.m. at Northwoods Friends of the Arts in Cook
- Open Mic & Coffeehouse - 6:30 p.m. at Headwaters Music & Arts in Bemidji
Saturday, June 7
- Recreation and sporting goods swap - 8 a.m. to noon at Happy Dancing Turtle in Pine River. This is a no-cost event, and you do not need to drop off items in order to take items. Examples of items accepted include bicycles in good working order, outdoor games and garden tools.
- Lions' Community Garage Sale - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hubbard County Fairgrounds in Park Rapids
- Blackberry Jam Fest - 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at North Central Minnesota Farm & Antique Association's Blackberry Farm
- Nature Neighbors Festival - 2 to 6 p.m. at the Lake Bemidji waterfront. The Okee Dokee Brothers perform at 4:30 p.m. Hosted by Lakeland PBS, Bemidji Early Childhood Collaborative, Bemidji Parks and Recreation and Apple Blossom Village.
- Raptor program - 3 p.m. at Lake Bemidji State Park. The Nature Connection presents the importance of raptors in our environment and offers a chance to see these birds up close.
- Fantastic Frogs: Hop into the Night - 9 p.m. at Lake Bemidji State Park
Sunday, June 8
- Monthly breakfast buffet - 9 a.m. to noon at Buck Lake Community Center,
located 12 miles north of Nashwauk. This month's buffet celebrates fathers.
