- Lakes Area Music Festival Opening Gala - 6 p.m. dinner, 8 p.m. concert at the Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts in Brainerd
- Diamonds & Darlings - 6 p.m. at Rail River Folk School in Bemidji. Celebrate Marilyn Monroe's 100th birthday at this Old Hollywood social, with a showing of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Proceeds benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
