DULUTH — The Superior National Forest will begin prescribed fires this month.
Fire operations will continue through June, as weather conditions allow, the forest said in a news release Tuesday, April 7.
The fires will help reduce overgrown vegetation and protect local communities and natural resources from wildfires.
