BEMIDJI — The Beltrami County Natural Resources Management Department is looking for new members for the Parks Steering Committee.
Five citizen members will help develop a new plan for county parks over the next 18 months.
Applications are open until 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 10.
The steering committee will meet for at least three, three-hour meetings over the next year, with additional meetings possible.
Beltrami County's park plan was first created in 2008, with two updates since then.
The county is also accepting public comments to help inform the new park plan.
"Citizen ideas and feedback will help us design parks that reflect the needs and values of our community," the county website states.
"Share your thoughts and let us know what new features, activities, or experiences you would like to see incorporated into our county park system. No idea is too big or too small!"
