CLOQUET — Power lines are down in the road in front of the Wells Fargo Bank in Cloquet, according to the Cloquet Police Department in a Tuesday, July 29, news release.
Due to an incident with the power lines involving a semitruck, homes and businesses in the area may be without power. Minnesota Power teams are working to address the problem, though the repairs could take hours to complete, the police department stated.
The entrance to the road from Highway 33, north of Taco Bell, is blocked off. The department advised people to take alternative routes and stay away from downed lines and guy wires.
