GRAND RAPIDS — A forum for Grand Rapids School Board candidates is set for Oct. 9 at the Reif Center.
KAXE and ICTV, with support from Grand Rapids-Bigfork Local 1314, Education Minnesota, are hosting the event, with a meet-and-greet with candidates in the lobby at 6:30 p.m. and the forum to follow at 7 p.m. The forum will be streamed live on local cable television and at watchictv.org. It will also be available on-demand post-event on ICTV’s website.
All nine school board candidates who filed were invited to attend.
The KAXE News team will select the questions to be asked, and we want to hear from you. What questions do you have for candidates? Submit them through our form. The deadline to submit questions is 5 p.m. Oct. 7.
Candidates may receive a list of topics beforehand but will not know the exact questions.
Not all questions submitted will be asked at the forum, but KAXE aims to ensure the topics with the most interest are addressed.
