Wadena-Deer Creek School District

Aitkin, Badger, Clearbrook-Gonvick, Cook County, Crosby-Ironton, Deer River, Hibbing, Lake of the Woods, Roseau, Wadena-Deer Creek, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, Warroad & Win-E-Mac are the districts with special elections.

East Grand Forks' Ruby Leach and Thief River Falls' Piper Greene and Braylee Wienen are 2025 consolation champions.

Student-athletes from Wadena-Deer Creek, Pequot Lakes, Staples-Motley, Crosby-Ironton, Rock Ridge, Thief River Falls and East Grand Forks will compete in singles and doubles.

Sixteen school districts and one township in the Northland will have special elections on Nov. 4, 2025. Early voting begins Sept. 19.

As fall sports wrap up, high school athletes are participating in section and state tourneys for soccer, tennis, cross country, football, volleyball and swimming and diving.
