Iron Range Partnership for Sustainability

The event is April 25-26, 2025, at the Iron Range Motors Event Center in Virginia, Minnesota. This year's theme is "The Price of Plastic."

Iron Range Partnership for Sustainability hosts the annual Earth Fest 9-3 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia, Minnesota. The event includes children’s activities, a local marketplace, exhibits, speakers, live music and food.

The 4th annual Iron Range Pasty Fest is serving up hot pasty dinners on Sunday, October 9th 2022 to benefit the Iron Range Partnership for Sustainability (IRPS). Free electronics recycling will be on-site, accepting laptops, desktops, monitors, and some televisions. This fund-raiser dinner features a homemade beef or pork pasty, made with locally-grown potatoes, carrots, rutabagas, and thyme. IRPS Board of Directors Member and Rutabaga Project Liaison, Marlise Riffel, joined Heidi Holtan on the KAXE/KBXE Morning Show to talk pasties and sustainability.
