The 4th Annual Iron Range Pasty Fest takes place on Sunday, October 9th in Mtn. Iron.

The 4th annual Iron Range Pasty Fest is serving up hot pasty dinners on Sunday, October 9th to benefit the Iron Range Partnership for Sustainability (IRPS). Free electronics recycling will be on-site, accepting laptops, desktops, monitors, and some televisions. This fund-raiser dinner features a homemade beef or pork pasty, made with locally-grown potatoes, carrots, rutabagas, and thyme. IRPS Board of Directors Member and Rutabaga Project Liaison, Marlise Riffel, joined Heidi Holtan on the KAXE/KBXE Morning Show to talk pasties and sustainability.
