Thursday, March 19
- Vital records program - 10 a.m. in the board room of the Beltrami County Administration Building in Bemidji. Historian Lois Jenkins will discuss how birth, death and marriage certificates help trace family history. You'll also see a demonstration of the public portal for accessing these records.
- Senior citizen lunch - 11 a.m. at Community Church in Pengilly. Seniors can enjoy a free meal, music and fellowship on the first and third Thursday of each month.
- Carving Your Clan workshop - 1-4 p.m. at Keewatin Public Library

- Maple Syrup: A Gift From the Trees - 2-3:30 p.m. at Lake Bemidji State Park
- Upstream Homebrewers' Spring Tasting - 3-5 p.m. in the basement of Keg n Cork in Bemidji. $10 admission.
- Bemidji Contra Dance - 6:30 p.m. at Lammers Town Hall in Solway. Dance to live music by Leatherwood. No experience or partners needed.
- Headwaters Music & Arts Gala: Play It Forward - 5 p.m. social hour, 6 p.m. performances at the Loft Event Center in Bemidji. Tickets are $75 per person or $600 per table of 8.
Sunday, March 22
- Childcare as Community Infrastructure panel - 12:30 p.m. at Northwest Technical College commons in Bemidji, featuring elected representatives, business leaders and parents. They will discuss how quality child care can make an entire community successful. You are welcome to share your thoughts.
- "New Beginnings, Stepping Forward" open house - 1-4 p.m. at Borealis Art Guild in Hibbing
