GRAND RAPIDS — We recently talked with Holly Downing on "What's for Breakfast" on the KAXE Morning Show. She had not had her breakfast yet, but she usually follows a simple plan.
First, she has a cup of coffee. Then, she has a second cup of coffee, but this time, she also has a Pepperidge Farm cookie. She hadn't decided on a flavor yet.
She was planning to have a more standard breakfast later, consisting of pancakes and a bowl of oatmeal, but for the time being, she was content with relaxing in her chair.
Over the weekend, Holly was having some family visit from Chicago for her birthday. She was looking forward to spending time with her grandchildren.
Holly has listened to KAXE ever since it went on the air. She continues to support it because she enjoys the programming and thinks its a one of a kind service to the community.
What's on the breakfast menu
