- Pie social fundraiser - 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Calumet Public Library
- New Neighbor Connect - 5 p.m. at Minnesota Discovery Center in Chisholm. Aaron Brown will give a talk titled "Iron Ranger 101" at 6 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 4
- O-Bah-Shiing Powwow - in Ponemah, with grand entry at 7 p.m.
- Bovey Farmers Day - 7 p.m. street dance in Bovey
- Book sale - 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Walker Public Library
- Closing art reception - 4-5 p.m. at the Reif Center in Grand Rapids. See work from the Lake Superior Watercolor Society.
- First Friday Art Walk - 4-7 p.m. at various stops in Grand Rapids
- Opening art reception for Bi-Annual Members Show - 5-7 p.m. at Watermark Art Center in Bemidji
- Storytelling event - 6 p.m. at Klockow Brewing Company in Grand Rapids. Stories and open mic about jobs.
Saturday, Sept. 5
- Book sale - 10 a.m.-noon at Walker Public Library
- O-Bah-Shiing Powwow - in Ponemah, with grand entries at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- The Root Beer Lady - 7 p.m. at the Mask and Rose Theater in Puposky. Tickets.
- Bovey Farmers Day - 8 p.m. street dance in Bovey
Sunday, Sept. 6
- Pancake breakfast - 8-10 a.m. at Lake Bemidji State Park dining hall. Bring your own plates and silverware if you can.
