Editor's note: Nukala was found by a family member Thursday, April 15.
GREANEY — The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a 40-year-old man in the Greaney area, about 20 miles northwest of Cook.
Clayton Leroy Nukala, Jr., was last seen around 10 a.m. Sunday, April 12, walking toward the woods in a white bathrobe. Law enforcement responded multiple times to an address on South Willow River Road over the weekend for Nukala’s strange behavior, including arriving unwanted at the residence while naked.
Nukala is not wanted on any criminal charges at this time: authorities state they want to ensure he is safe, with his risk of hypothermia in recent cool and wet weather among their concerns. Anyone with information on Nukala’s whereabouts is encouraged to call 911.
