Koochiching County authorities ask for help locating missing 66-year-old man

INTERNATIONAL FALLS — The Koochiching County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help locating a man last seen Jan. 19 in International Falls.

Mark Rood, 66, was last seen near County Road 332 south of 15th Street East, according to an endangered missing person alert shared Friday, Feb. 6.

Rood's red 2014 Toyota Camry with Ohio plates was found at the Tilson Bay Public Access on Jan. 27.

Rood is 6 feet, 2 inches tall, white and roughly 175 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Rood's whereabouts should contact the Koochiching County Sheriff's Office at 218-283-4416 or call 911.
