MOUNTAIN IRON — The Mountain Iron-Buhl School Board will appoint a new member to fill a recent vacancy.
The board approved the resignation of Chair Jesse White at its Monday, July 28, meeting. A few minutes later, White was hired as a 7-12 social studies teacher.
The board will appoint a member to fill the empty seat until the November 2026 election.
Those interested in joining the board should submit their name, address, a short bio and reason for wanting to serve on the board to Superintendent Reggie Engebritson by Aug. 11.
To be eligible, you must have lived in the district for at least 30 days, be at least 21 years old, be eligible to vote and not be a convicted sex offender.
