DULUTH — The Resource Advisory Committee for the Superior National Forest will host a virtual public meeting Monday, July 7.
The committee will discuss and make recommendations on project proposals for the funds from Title II of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act.
Title II allows the Forest Service to distribute grants for the protection, restoration and enhancement of fish and wildland habitat as well as other natural resource projects that would benefit federally managed land.
The proposals include maintenance for various trails in the Superior National Forest, invasive species management in Cook County and improvements to forest roads.
The meeting will be from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
There will be time for public comments at 3:15 p.m., as time allows.
Information on how to join the meeting by phone or via Microsoft Teams can be found on the Forest Service's website.
