CASS LAKE — The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe announced the American Red Cross will provide relief distribution 3-7 p.m. Monday, June 30, at the Cass Lake Pow Wow Grounds.
Items distributed will include rakes, tarps, trash bags and gloves, with additional information about recovery and service referrals.
The Red Cross is also expected to canvass storm-impacted areas Monday to assess damages and offer support directly to residents.
The Leech Lake Emergency Operations Center continues to coordinate response efforts on the reservation following a severe storm on June 21 that downed thousands of trees and caused widespread power outages in and around Bemidji.
