FOSSTON — One person died in a house fire in Fosston on Wednesday morning, June 25, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
Responders found 60-year-old Keven Haugen dead inside the house. The other occupants were able to get out, including 31-year old Zachary Haugen and two children ages 4 and 8, who were injured.
The sheriff's office received a report of a house fire near the bus garage in Fosston at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Responders arrived to find the house engulfed in flames with one individual believed to still be inside.

Crow Wing County's Eric Klang said agents worked out of the sheriff's office while temporarily stationed in the lakes area, asking him for guidance on "what's off limits."
