THIEF RIVER FALLS — The new roundabout at Highway 59 and Pennington County Road 3 near Thief River Falls is now open.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation project began in May and is in its third stage, with completion expected later in August.
Crews will continue paving, striping and installing signage throughout the corridor.

RJ Zavoral and Sons is the contractor for this $8.6 million project, which MnDOT designed to create a longer-lasting and safer driving surface, improve drainage and a safer intersection.
Drivers can expect lane closures, flaggers and pilot car operations. As always, use caution when traveling in and around work zones.
