Learning event to cover Statue of Liberty

BAGLEY — David Jones, a frequent presenter as part of the Northern Exposure to Lifelong Learning series, is set to appear again Wednesday, April 19.

Jones will present “The Statue of Liberty: Two Decades of Effort, Almost Impossible Odds” at Faith Lutheran Church in Bagley.

“The Statue of Liberty stands proudly in New York Harbor, but how did the Statue come to be? What does it symbolize?” a news release stated. “Join us for a compelling look at the idea, the construction and the meaning.”

Doors open at 9 a.m. and the program begins promptly at 9:30 a.m. Light refreshments will be served.
