Here's who's running for office in Northern Minnesota

The first of two candidate filing periods in Minnesota opened Tuesday, May 21, for those interested in running for public office.

It will remain open through June 4 and includes federal, state and county offices, along with city and school board races in which a primary is possible. Prospective candidates should contact the filing officer for the office they’re interested in, which can be found at the Secretary of State’s website.
