KAXE contacted every candidate twice using contact information submitted to the Secretary of State's Office to invite them to participate in our Election Guide.
Candidate responses have not been edited and are published as submitted.
As necessary, our news team added contextual information clearly marked with an "editor's note" and in italics, though responses have not been uniformly fact-checked. With our small team of three, we are unable to proactively fact check every statement made by candidates. But we will make every effort to make note of inaccuracies if they come to our attention.
Please contact our news team at news@kaxe.org with questions or comments or to report any errors.
KAXE's Election Guide only includes candidates in contested races. Visit our full list of who's running for office in Northern Minnesota to see who else is on the ballot.

Where are you currently employed, and what is your role?
Attorney, Radosevich Law Office
Please share any prior experience that you believe qualifies you for office.
As an attorney, I’m well known for identifying problems and finding solutions. I publish the local weekly newspaper, the Pine Knot News (I'm on hiatus as I run for office); operate CAT-7 cable access television; owned Esko Pizza Pies for many years; host a cable access TV show, "Harry's Gang" on politics and current events, and am very active in the community, especially in economic development.
Please describe the roles and responsibilities of the office you are running for.
Solving problems is what I do. As an attorney, I’m well known for identifying problems and finding solutions. Compromise is just good politics. When we have politicians who refuse to acknowledge that the other side may have some value, we get deadlocked government. But when both sides agree that there is some merit to each side’s positions, we compromise and get solutions. That’s what I do
Why are you running for office?
I am eager to serve our community.
What are your priorities, if elected? Please describe specific policy goals.
Rural economic development. Child care and elder care. Responsible spending of our taxes. Long-term visionary planning.
Across the region, renters and owners are struggling to afford housing. If elected, what would you do to address the issues of availability and affordability for your constituents?
Rural economic development is the answer. When we strengthen our communities with better long-term vision on issues like child & elder care; education; infrastructure; and health care, we'll see better housing options and a more livable community.
What effective policies will you support that will prepare your district now, next year and in the future to improve resiliency against climate change?
solutions must be tried; not all will work, but we need to try. Moving away from dependence on fossil fuels is essential. There wil be missteps, but we better start now if we intend to be ready when it's necessary.
High taxation is a concern for many Northern Minnesotans. Please share any specific opinions you hold related to taxation, and how you plan to ensure tax dollars are used efficiently and effectively.
Rural economic development is the answer. When we strengthen our communities with better long-term vision on issues like child & elder care; education; infrastructure; and health care, we'll see a more livable community.
How do you plan to improve transparency and trust in government?
I'm pretty open and transparent; I hold Town Hall meetings; I write a weekly newspaper column; I host a weekly cable-access TV show (on hiatus during the election season). We'll all trust government when the bickering is reduced and the successes are more frequent.
