- Grand opening of Bovey City Dog Park - 11:30 a.m. at Enstrom-Wilden Park
- Brown Bag Author Series - noon at Brainerd Public Library. Janis A. Fairbanks will talk about her book Sugar Bush Babies: Stories of My Ojibwe Grandmother.
- Grand Rapids Garden Club meeting - 6 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Grand Rapids. Rick Barber will present on garden soil testing and how to amend soil using fertilizer.

- Itasca Waters' Practical Water Wisdom webinar - noon, online. This month's topic is the effect of fireworks on lakes and groundwater.
- Creature Connections: The Reptile Experience - 3:30 p.m. at Moose Lake Public Library
- New Neighbor Connect - 5-7 p.m. at Minnesota Discovery Center in Chisholm. Hosted by Hello, Range.
- Queerly Social Pride Month gathering - 6-8:30 p.m. at Whipple Beach Pavilion in Baxter. Gather for food and start planning Pride in the Park, happening in September. Hosted by The Sowing Room.
Friday, June 5
- Coffee with a Cop - 9 a.m.-noon at Tower Cafe in Tower. Free coffee provided, with the option to purchase menu items. This is a chance to ask questions, share concerns and get to know St. Louis County sheriff's deputies.
- Nature Discovery Table: Busy Beavers - 2:30-3:30 p.m. at Lake Bemidji State Park
- First Friday Art Walk - 4-7 p.m. at various locations in Grand Rapids
- Blackberry Jam Fest - 4:30-11 p.m. at Blackberry Farm
Saturday, June 6
- Plant sale - 8:30-11 a.m. at the Crosslake Corps of Engineers Dam. Hosted by the Crosslake Garden Club.
- Scent & Soil: A Container Sensory Garden Workshop - 10 a.m.-noon in Room 209 at Old Central School in Grand Rapids. Hosted in partnership with Free Range Food Co-op and Itasca County Master Gardeners. Register.
- Blackberry Jam Fest - 10 a.m.-11 p.m. at Blackberry Farm
- Archery in the Parks - 10:30-11 a.m. at Lake Bemidji State Park. Designed for beginners aged 8 and older. Those aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Personal archery equipment is not allowed.
- Fantastic Frogs - 3-4 p.m. at Lake Bemidji State Park. Waterproof shoes are recommended.
- Nature Neighbors Family Festival - 3-6 p.m. at Rail River Folk School in Bemidji
