Every Friday morning, we get to know one of our members on "What's for Breakfast." Recently, we spoke with Steve Tietz, a concert enthusiast from St. Paul.

ST. PAUL — As an avid lover of concerts, Steve Tietz is used to the high energy and bustle of the music venues. In contrast, he likes to keep his breakfasts straightforward and simple, he told us recently on What's For Breakfast on the Friday KAXE Morning Show.

For breakfast, Steve was having oatmeal and some coffee. He said he makes his oatmeal by boiling it in 2% milk for around 20 minutes and adding a little bit of honey and some cranberries. When asked about his coffee, Steve said he usually drinks it black, since he's pretty indifferent to how he has his coffee.

Steve from St. Paul shared more of his ticket stub collection.

Recently, Steve submitted some photos and an answer for our Question of the Week. The question was, "What is your unique or interesting collection?" Steve told us about his concert ticket collection, featuring tickets from as far back as 1982.

He's collected tickets from a number of concerts over the years, enough to fill three different poster boards. He has more that haven't been displayed, too.

Steve said he hasn't been collecting tickets as often recently because physical paper tickets are now less common. He only keeps ones that have something interesting, such as an autograph from the leading band.

Lastly, Steve shared an anecdote about how he became a KAXE member. He heard about a radio station in Ely that was struggling and wanted to support them, thinking it was KAXE.

"I'm going, 'I gotta keep this station alive!' I became a member, and then I figured it out and I'm like, 'Oh, it's not them, but, still a great station.'"

Though it may have been an accident, Steve still enjoys KAXE and what they offer.
