- Christmas Market - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mountain Iron Public Library
- "The Day Before Winter" - 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the Sax-Zim Bog. Naturalist Dave Benson will talk about ways animals prepare themselves for the extremes of winter.

- First Day Snowshoe Under the Pines - 10 a.m. at Lake Bemidji State Park. Meet at the trailhead of the Paul Bunyan State Trail. Bring your own snowshoes, or a limited number are available to borrow. Refreshments served in the visitor center. All skill levels are welcome.
