GRAND RAPIDS — What are the hopes and dreams of an 8-year-old on her birthday?
Besides going out for birthday crepes, Kirby Walker does have a dream.
“I want to go to a Taylor Swift concert” she said. “I also want to donate to children’s hospitals.”
Morning Show host John Bauer asked Kirby how it felt to be turning 8.
“I really don’t know what I am feeling!” Kirby answered with a laugh.
No matter what she was feeling, the day was to be filled with epic birthday activities: a day at College for Kids with water balloons, root beer floats, Legos and an obstacle course. Plus, a sleepover at her house with five friends that included a dance party on a pontoon and decorating eye masks.
“And then we're gonna jump on the trampoline, and we're gonna change into our pajamas and then eat popcorn and watch a movie,” Kirby continued.
We also talked about soccer, loving going back to school and how Kirby got her name. Listen to our full conversation above.
