With their signature mixture of jazz and blues, Davina and the Vagabonds have been wowing audiences since 2006. They have toured Europe and the United Kingdom, and played in every state except Hawaii. Throughout the years they have continued to call Minnesota home, playing countless shows in the Twin Cities and around the state. KAXE/KBXE is excited to host the group for their debut show at the Historic Chief Theater in downtown Bemidji!
In the lead up to the concert, Davina joined Malachy Koons on February 3rd, 2023, for a conversation about the show. The group will be debuting some brand new music, and in the interview you'll learn about plans to release an album later this year. You'll also hear Davina talk about challenges facing musicians today, and about how the group trialed a new method of fundraising for the album.
