Potter Marie Brown has a new show at Ripple River Gallery called “Shaping and Reshaping,” partially inspired by an accident that occurred earlier in the year.

Irish pianist and teacher John O’Conor will perform solo and then as a duo at Bemidji State on Sept. 13 and 14. O’Conor and violinist Eric Olson join “Area Voices” to discuss their music and how their friendship began.

Karen Storkamp wants to spread the word about the artform of needle felting. She hosts a class Sept. 7, 2024, at The Crossing Arts Alliance in Brainerd.

“Harp and Sol” will be performed at various locations in Northern Minnesota from Aug. 15-17. Geoffrey Taylor and Mary Overlie join “Area Voices” to discuss the production process.

The pageant based on tales from the Finnish book of legends features larger-than-life puppets. It is 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at the New York Mills Civic & Commerce Corn Feed and at Finn Creek Festival at noon Saturday.
