We've got a Valentine's Day special Setlist for you this week. All four highlighted shows are this Saturday, Feb. 14, across the region.
First up, Sam Miltich & The Clearwater Hot Club are playing Brigid’s in Bemidji at 6 p.m. The jazz band will feature Tony Balluf on clarinet and Mark Kreitzer on guitar alongside Sam and Matthew Miltich.
In Hackensack, also starting at 6 p.m., In Stereo is playing at Rendezvous Brewing. They are a rock and pop husband-and-wife duo playing covers for Valentine’s Day.
Another show this Saturday, where there will definitely be Valentine's dancin,g is old-timey group Sugar on the Roof playing a barn dance at the Bovey City Hall at 6:30 p.m. The band plays a great mix of jazz, bluegrass, blues and old-time and will be soundtracking the dance with calling done by Julie Young.
The final Valentine's day show is bluesy rock band Grand Holler at the Ore House in Gilbert. The group is based in Duluth and has a gritty and heartfelt sound. They have one album Out of the Past from 2022, and their last release was the single “FreeWill” from September. Music begins at 7 p.m.
