BRAINERD — The Minnesota Outdoor Recreation Industry Partnership will be in Brainerd on Tuesday, April 28, to share economic impact information and talk about what's next for the industry.
Staff with the partnership will share the latest findings from Minnesota's Outdoor Economic Impact Report, including data on the size and growth of the outdoor recreation industry, at An Afternoon with ORIP, 2-4 p.m. at the Brainerd Public Library.
There will also be a conversation about a four-year roadmap for the industry.
"This is your opportunity to weigh in on the priorities that will shape our work supporting the growth of Minnesota's outdoor economy in the future," a notice from the partnership states.
The event is free and open to all, but RSVPs are requested.
The partnership is an interagency collaboration between Explore Minnesota and Minnesota's natural resources, employment, and economic development and Iron Range resources and rehabilitation departments. It was created in 2023 at the recreation of a state task force and council.
