Townships across Minnesota will host their annual meetings on Tuesday, March 10.
During the meetings, township residents have a direct voice on their township’s annual tax levy. In addition to voting on the levy for the next year, they can review spending and action plans.
Many of the state’s 1,776 townships also conduct township officer elections on the second Tuesday of March.
Information on township elections is advertised in their respective legal newspapers and can often be found online.
