HERMANTOWN — St. Louis County Public Works will host its second public meeting to discuss design options for its corridor study on Midway Road.
The department identified a number of safety of concerns, including an aging traffic signal, lack of accommodations for pedestrians and bicyclists, plus many access points and intersections with frontage roads.
With public input, county engineers have developed potential designs for the public to review and provide feedback on.
The designs show alternatives for driving lane configurations, intersections, on-street parking, and pedestrian and bicyclist facilities and crossings.
The meeting will be 6 p.m. Oct. 2 at Hermantown City Hall, at 5105 Maple Grove Road.
The meeting will also be livestreamed, with more information on the county's project webpage.
