VIRGINIA — The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and Adventures Restaurant will host "Coffee with a Cop" in Virginia.
The event on Wednesday, Oct. 1, aims to build relationships and encourage conversation between citizens and deputies.
Adventures Restaurant, 5475 Mountain Iron Drive in Virginia, is donating the coffee free of charge. Attendees have the option to purchase additional menu items.
"The event gives people the opportunity to ask questions, share concerns and get to know some of the deputies who serve our county," stated a news release.
There is no set program for the event, and residents are welcome to stop by the event at any point between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
