The presentation in Grand Rapids will give the community a chance to learn about the nonprofit's crisis intervention services. Pre-registration is required.

GRAND RAPIDS — KOOTASCA Community Action is hosting a conversation about First Call for Help's crisis intervention services.

The two-hour presentation at Community Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids begins at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9. Lunch is provided, and pre-registration is required by calling 218-910-5486 or emailing.

First Call for Help's Executive Director Cre Larson will share more on the private nonprofit that aims to provide 24/7 free, confidential and nonjudgmental crisis intervention and referral services.

The presentation is part of KOOTASCA's Big View Community Engagement series, which addresses issues that have the potential to adversely impact people in poverty.
