GRAND RAPIDS — Nonprofit Smart North is hosting registration pop-ups for The Future is Feminine Tuesday and Wednesday, June 3 and 4.
The tech career pathway program is open to adult women and offers free certification for high-demand jobs, paid training and mentorship and support services like transportation, a laptop and child care.
Those interested in learning more can visit the Deer River Tech Hub (1049 Comstock Drive) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and the Grand Rapids Tech Hub (601 SW Seventh St.) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Refreshments and snacks will be provided, and women can sign up to receive a free box of professional clothing from Dress for Success.
Additional info sessions are scheduled for 2-6 p.m. June 17 at the Deer River Tech Hub and June 18 at the Grand Rapids Tech Hub. Those sessions will cover The Future is Feminine and Smart North’s Next Gen tech career pathway program, which is for youths 16 and older.
