GRAND RAPIDS — Anishinaabe drumming and language will be discussed during a workshop 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24.
Musician Chaz Wagner, along with special guests, will host the workshop at the Giinawind Creative Space, next door to the MacRostie Art Center in downtown Grand Rapids.
It's open to anyone who wants to learn more about Anishinaabe culture, or those who just want to sit back, listen and enjoy. Refreshments provided.
Wagner is part of the Native American rock band War Bonnet, which was nominated for two 2022 Native American Music Awards.
