LAKE ITASCA — A Kid’s Science Discovery program covering spring trees is set for 1:30-2:15 p.m. Friday, April 14, at Itasca State Park.

The program invites kids to investigate trees and learn about tree identification.

“Science Discovery programs are geared for students looking to take the classroom outside,” a news release stated. “Itasca is a wonderful outdoor learning space to explore the natural world.”

Participants should meet at the Jacob V. Brower Visitor Center. Registration for this program is required. For more information or to register, email naturalist Sandra at sandra.d.lichter@state.mn.us or call 218-699-7252.
