Incumbent David Marty will be joined by Christopher Reilly and Brian Vroman on the Grand Rapids School Board in January 2027.

GRAND RAPIDS — Dr. Christopher Reilly, David Marty and Brian Vroman have won the election for Grand Rapids School Board.

Incumbent School Board member Marty will return to office for a third term. He will be joined by Reilly, who earned the highest number of votes, and Vroman, who came in third.

Dan Wolf and Darren Romans did not earn enough votes for a spot on the board.

Marty, 74, is retired and has served two four-year terms on the Board. Reilly, 44, is a radiologist who sees patients at Grand Itasca, Bigfork, Hibbing, Roseau, Cook, Cloquet and International Falls. Vroman, 58, teaches history and ethics at Minnesota North-Itasca.

All School Board candidates joined KAXE and ICTV for a candidate forum in September.

Reilly, Marty and Vroman will begin their four-year terms in January.
