Learn to paint watercolors at Gallery North

BEMIDJI — Two upcoming watercolor classes at Gallery North in Bemidji provide the opportunity to learn more about the painting medium.

A class taught by Marion Riel will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, will help students create a 16-by-20-inch watercolor painting of chickadees or cardinals. Cost is $60 and all materials are provided.

Another class taught by Darcy Brambrink will take place 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, to paint an 8-by-8 inch watercolor of an angel. Cost is $45 including all materials.
