- O-Bah-Shiing Powwow - in Ponemah, with grand entry at 1 p.m.

- Practical Water Wisdom webinar - noon, online. This month's topic is freshwater mussels. Hosted by Itasca Waters.
- Classic movie series - 6:30 p.m. at Edge Center for the Arts in Bigfork. This month's film is The Great Dictator, starring Charlie Chaplin.
Friday, Sept. 11
- Rummage sale - 8 a.m.-4 p.m at The Center in Brainerd
- Harvest Moon Festival - 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Whiteside Park in Ely
- Free hearing screenings - 10 a.m. at Bemidji Senior Center
Saturday, Sept. 12
- Jackpine Classic road race - 7:15 a.m. registration, 8 a.m. race from the Gillett Wellness Center on the Bemidji State University campus. Register
- Rummage sale - 8 a.m.-1 p.m at The Center in Brainerd
- Little Falls Arts & Crafts Fair - 8 a.m.-6 p.m. in downtown Little Falls. Free parking and shuttle available at Morrison County Fairgrounds.
- 4th annual Meatloaf Run - 9 a.m. registration, 11 a.m. motorcycle ride from Itasca County Fairgrounds in Grand Rapids. Hosted by the local chapter of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Asssociation.
- Harvest Moon Festival - 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Whiteside Park in Ely
- Animal adoption event - 10-11 a.m. at Great Tails Animal Rescue, located between Grand Rapids and Cohasset
- Pride in the Park - 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Gregory Park in Brainerd
- Heartland Lakes Harvest Festival - 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Hubbard County Fairgrounds in Park Rapids. $10 admission, free for those three and under.
- Walker Ethnic Fest - 10 a.m.-6 p.m. in downtown Walker
- Walk Around the Block for Alzheimer's - 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Old Central School in Grand Rapids
- Opening reception - noon-3 p.m. at Jaques Art Center in Aitkin. Artist Stephanie Mirocha will give a talk at 1 p.m.
- Artist reception - 5-7 p.m. at Watermark Art Center in Bemidji. Meet the seven artists who created new designs for Bemidji's downtown corner kiosks. Their original paintings will be on display at Watermark Art Center until Sept. 30.
- What the Constitution Means to Me - 7 p.m. at Edge Center for the Arts in Bigfork
Sunday, Sept. 13
- Lone Eagle Auto Club Car Show - 7 a.m.-2 p.m. at Morrison County Fairgrounds in Little Falls
- Little Falls Arts & Crafts Fair - 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in downtown Little Falls. Free parking and shuttle available at Morrison County Fairgrounds.
- Harvest Moon Festival - 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Whiteside Park in Ely
- Grandparents Day celebration - 1-4 p.m. at Clearwater County History Center in Shevlin. Take a horse and wagon ride to learn about Shevlin of 100 years ago. Refreshments will be served.
- What the Constitution Means to Me - 2 p.m. at Edge Center for the Arts in Bigfork
