Monday, March 2
- Brown Bag Author Series - noon at Brainerd Public Library. Frank Weber will talk about his latest thriller, Heartbreak Hollow.
Tuesday, March 3
- Moonlight Snowshoe Hike - 4:30-8 p.m. at Minnesota Discovery Center in Chisholm. $18 for members, $20 for non-members. Tickets and more details.
Thursday, March 5
- Itasca Waters' Practical Water Wisdom webinar - noon, online. This month features a panel on how boat traffic is legally managed on lakes and rivers.
Friday, March 6
- First Friday Art Walk - 4-7 p.m. at various stops in Grand Rapids.
- People Powered Party - 5-8 p.m. at Klockow Brewing in Grand Rapids. It's a release party for the People Powered Pilsner created by Klockow Brewing, Bemidji Brewing and Jack Pine Brewery to celebrate 50 years of KAXE!
- Open Mic & Coffeehouse - 7 p.m. at Headwaters Music & Arts in Bemidji. This month's featured performer is Mary Overlie.
- Grand Rapids Players present Fiddler on the Roof - 7 p.m. at the Reif Center in Grand Rapids. Tickets.
Saturday, March 7
- Northland Fat Bike Rally - 8 a.m. registration at Lake Bemidji State Park, races begin at 10 a.m.
- Craft supply swap - 9 a.m.-noon at Happy Dancing Turtle in Pine River
- Lead for Inclusion's Art Social - 11 a.m.-noon at Bemidji High School art room. Ages 14 and up can take part in youth-led arts activities.
- Singing for Our Neighbors: A Community Sing-Along for Unity and Healing - 2 p.m. at Community Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids. Donations in support of mutual aid will be accepted.
- Closing reception for "Aanikoobijiganag – Generations" - 2-4 p.m. at Watermark Art Center in Bemidji
- Bemidji Symphony Orchestra's Symphony Showcase - 7-9 p.m. at the Loft Event Center in Bemidji. Listen to solos, duets and small ensembles while enjoying light snacks. $40 per person. Tickets.
- Grand Rapids Players present Fiddler on the Roof - 7 p.m. at the Reif Center in Grand Rapids. Tickets.
Sunday, March 8
- Monthly breakfast buffet - 9 a.m.-noon at Buck Lake Community Center, 12 miles north of Nashwauk. $13 for all-you-can-eat. Wear your purple and green for an early St. Urho and St. Patrick's Day celebration. The Buck Lake Improvement Club will also be collecting food and household items for the Nashwauk Food Shelf.
