- Cary J. Griffith book tour - 1 p.m. at the Hibbing Public Library. Griffith will discuss his book Gunflint Falling: Blowdown in the Boundary Waters.
Tuesday, Feb. 4
- Cary J. Griffith book tour - 1 p.m. at the Chisholm Public Library. Griffith will discuss his book Gunflint Falling: Blowdown in the Boundary Waters.
- Cary J. Griffith book tour - 3:30 p.m. at the Virginia Public Library. Griffith will discuss his book Gunflint Falling: Blowdown in the Boundary Waters.
- Wiikonge’aadaanig Makoonsag Gaa-ondaadiziwaad (Let's All Feast the Little Bears that were Born) - 5 to 9 p.m. at Rail River Folk School in Bemidji. Saturday, Feb. 8
- Author talk - 6 p.m. at Watermark Art Center in Bemidji. Minnesota author Kent Nerburn will give a presentation called "Listening for the Native Heartbeat: How Northern Minnesota Shaped Me as a Writer."
- Candlelit ski - 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Lake Bemidji State Park. There will be a campfire at the park's dining hall and live music with Louis Samsa beginning at 7 p.m. in the visitor center.
- Bemidji Contra Dance - 6:30 p.m. at Rail River Folk School. All dances will be taught by the caller with live music from the Tickwood String Band. No experience or partners needed.
- BSU Jazz Fest - 7:30 p.m. at Bangsberg Hall on the Bemidji State University campus
- Misery - 7 p.m. at Bemidji Community Theater. Tickets.
Sunday, Feb. 9
- "Super" breakfast buffet- 9 a.m. to noon at Buck Lake Improvement Club, located 12 miles north of Nashwauk on Highway 65.
