It's another busy week in Northern Minnesota. Here are some events to check out:
Tuesday, January 21
- Auditions for Water from Snow - 5:30 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Bemidji. Performances will be at Rail River Folk School in late March.
Wednesday, Jan. 22
- Brainerd Lakes Audobon Society meeting - 7 p.m. at Northland Arboretum. The owners of Clayhill Farm will speak about their work to diversify their land while practicing sustainable agriculture.
Thursday, Jan. 23
- Trip Talk - 9:30 a.m. at Bemidji Senior Center. Find out what's coming in 2025 for both one-day and multi-day trips.

- Big Top Chautauqua presents Anishinaabe Dibaajimowin: An Ojibwe Story - 7 p.m. at the Reif Center in Grand Rapids
Friday, Jan. 24
- Burger Night - 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Curl Mesabi in Eveleth
Saturday, Jan. 25
- Winter Rendezvous - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Deep Portage Learning Center near Hackensack. Try out activities like axe throwing and snow snakes. Pre-register.
- Artist conversation - 1 p.m. at Watermark Art Center in Bemidji. Robb Quisling and Jonathan Thunder's exhibit "Loaded" ties their experiences with addiction and recovery to the visual imagery of their work.
- "Walk on the Wild Side" - 1 to 3 p.m. at Neilson Spearhead Center near Bemidji. Take a guided hike to look for animal tracks and other signs of wildlife.
- "Glow in the Snow" - 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Lake Bemidji State Park. There will be a campfire at the Lavinia group camp, plus live music and refreshments in the visitor center. Bring your own snowshoes; a limited number are available to rent.
Sunday, Jan. 26
- Bloody Mary Battle - 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rail River Folk School in Bemidji. Proceeds benefit the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra. Eight local establishments will battle it out for the best bloody mary. Coffee and donuts will be served.
