Threat of frost, unseasonable cold continues for Northern MN
A frost advisory is in effect overnight Friday, with the threat of frost also expected overnight Saturday and Sunday. Temps are expected to return to normal by Monday, Sept. 8, 2025.

Minnesota Power and American Transmission Co. LLC are proposing to construct approximately 67.5 miles of transmission line between Grand Rapids and Hermantown.
Cass County Sheriff’s Office to host boat and water safety classes
The course, which includes classroom components, teaches boating and water safety and includes a test. Passing the test will allow youths to receive their Watercraft Operators Permit, which is required for those between the ages of 12 and 17 years old.
