Tuesdays are special at KAXE/KBXE. It’s the day we celebrate Phenology - the rhythmic biological nature of events as they relate to climate. Every week our resident phenologist John Latimer gathers messages from listeners in regard to what they are noticing outside. During the school year things get wildly more exciting when we hear from students all around the listening area as they send in their observations and questions!
What are you noticing outside? We’d love to hear about it! If you are a teacher interested in getting our phenology program going in your classroom, email jlatimer@kaxe.org or leave a message at 218-999-9876!
If you love that a program like the Phenology Show exists in the world, ensure its future with a contribution to Northern Community Radio!
We were gifted with several stellar classroom reports this week and an otter observation from Daniel Dix!
We also heard from North Shore Community School
and we received and update from students in Northfield!
And, listener Daniel Dix has an observation about living in an otter way...
