October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

On the Thursday morning show we welcomed Holly Christensen and John Downing from Advocates for Family Peace to have a conversation about domestic violence.  Advocates for Family Peace serves women and children and also works with men in the intervention program for men and fathers. One of the men in the group, Chris, came in to tell his story.

Since joining the station in 2002 as a volunteer music programmer, she has worn many hats including the weekly book program, Realgoodwords, hosting the Morning Show, creation and host of the weekly call-in program Between You and Me, serving as Outreach Producer. Program Director, News Director and currently Director of Content and Public Affairs.
